Celebrate Being Alive

Good morning, A glorious sunshine is beaming in the front window of my office. The light of which sprinkles magic across my desk and the toys I have laying here. Toys are a constant companion right now as well as bright colors and creative tools. It is what the world is calling for, so as we gather today in our large lodge around the hot fire, what toys do you imagine having with you? Take a look around and see exactly what you want right here, right now and know that it will bring you back to your creativity. Go ahead and let yourself have it in your mind's eye.

Notice any shifts in you now that you have given a gift to your creative side. Next, take another look around and notice the eyes of those here in our circle. What do you see reflected back to you? Eyes are the windows and the mirrors to our soul and much is written there these days. We have been going through a refinement and our souls are echoing our pureness and what is still in need of purification. It has taken courage to go deep within ourselves and to uncover what was stuck there from years ago and lives ago and bring it into the light for feeling, loving and letting go. Some of us have reached the other side of the stuckness and some are still in the throes of it. No matter where you are in that process, I invite you to celebrate being alive today with some play and laughter. It is sure to shift any stuckness. I'm so glad you are here with us.

Over the last four years I have stood in a state of awareness related to the energy of all of us in this circle and the mood of this precious earth that is ours. There have been times of darkness and times of lightness and I believe we have each done our best to ride the ebb and flow of life. Congratulations on getting to here. I know it hasn't all been easy. I'm hoping that you are more settled into the Core of who you are and what is important to you. Knowing and living from that deep inner self is the key to going with the flow and being clear on what is next.

Cabin fever has inflicted some of us and we are seeking sources of lightness. The blankets have fallen to our feet as we have been prompted to get up and dance after our period of hibernation. Nearly all of my classes and coaching sessions lately have included a dose of magic, creativity, and laughter. At last week's drumming circle, we had a laughfest that wouldn't stop. We danced at the winter retreat even though all of us were shy at first. Sex has been one of the topics at the women's group and many coaching sessions as it is one of the finest ways to reach our source and our creative fire. It is so good to be among the lightness once again. I also recognize the beauty of being in the void of darkness and all that we discover there. Remember that I will meet you wherever you are and honor that place as we see what is next in your shifting. I'm wondering today if you are ready to believe that if you add more play to your life that all you want will come and sit at your feet. Do you believe that it is possible? Can life be that easy? What is stirring within your creative self seeking expression?

Here are a few of the tips I have been sharing to stimulate your playfulness:
wear red socks
put green sheets on your bed (warning: Do this only if you want more play there)
color with a brand new box of crayons
start and end each day with your hands in some dirt
put together a puzzle
