"And some, like me, are just beginning to guess at the powerful religion of ordinary life, a spirituality of freshly mopped floors and stacked dishes and clothes blowing on the line."

I love this quote! I long to see the profound in the ordinary and to weave the threads of daily life with the spiritual light to make beautiful fabric.
Delightful images! I seldom see clothes blowing on a line anymore but I vividly recall walking through billowing bedsheets that smelled of sunshine and fresh air when I was a kid. I so get the 'religion' aspect of this. I coined a word for it (at least I think it is original)...I call it "realigion".
