Romance

Today the scent of jasmine fills our circle with whispers of romance. Not the type of romance that comes with a partner but instead the kind that comes with an intimacy with life. All around us are invitations of romance so I invite you to walk with me into this discovery.

Branches of willow tickled my neck as I drove to my office this morning. Having cut a gorgeous log from a willow tree downed in last week's wind, its branches stretched across my front seat awakening my senses. I invite you to open to the possibility that romance lives in the tickles of nature.

Apples are ready at the orchard and farmer's markets are filled with early harvests of fruits and vegetables. I invite you to gather up your favorites and as you bite into their delicacies, let the juices run down your chin and to where ever they want to run. Close your eyes and feel the flow. Go ahead, do it again and again and again.

Life wants to romance us and the possibilities are endless. Explore your own passion through your senses this week and post your discoveries on the blog at www.MeanderingsbyDane.blogspot.com.

The connection we have with all of life will reveal itself further throug h intimacy with a person if that is our desire. All is interweaved.

I'm reminded now of a love story from 1997 when I was first started studying and teaching Feng Shui. I was at my assistant's desk one day and saw a picture of her husband in her trashcan. I was surprised when she told me they were considering divorce. I offered her a Feng Shui cure and in about 2 minutes we made the subtle shift on her desk. She wanted more romance. Within minutes her husband called and asked her to go to lunch which he had never done in their 15 year marriage. Not only did he take her to lunch, but he pulled into the parking lot of a sewing shop and bought her the sewing machine she had been wanting. He had never bought her a gift like that before either. It was her gentle intention and belief in the shift that caused it to happen. Their marriage became more alive and fruitful.

I have witnessed alot of Feng Shui miracles since then and I feel honored to share its practical and profound principles with those of you seeking ways to live more in harmony with your environment this Sunday. See more information below.

Feeling the romance,
Dane
