I imagine it was my casual request to the universe to rid my office of baby gnats that summoned the spider. She is large, furry, beautiful, and quite a jumper. So far, so good on her feeding on the gnats. One day she showed up on the top of my laptop and meandered back and forth showing me her full self as I researched her type on the Internet. I think she is a Bold Jumper that is supposed to live primarily in the tropics. However she got here, I'm glad for her presence. Well, somewhat glad.
Today I was cleaning off my desk when I felt a tickle on my thigh. I looked down to find her big and hairy body crawling to the east. I yelped a tiny bit and then busted out laughing. I don't think she would bite me but she does have fangs so I gently moved her back to my desk with gentle guidance not to do that again!
She is on the front window now spinning her web. What a creator, my friend the web maker.
