Pools of Light
Meeting in the moments of everyday is richer when we see the pools of light we each hold in our God given eyes. These sparkles of timelessness shine through no matter what. Looking into the eyes of others is what the weekend brought as I stood in a large crowd of freezing people before we took the Polar Plunge and as I celebrated a new begining with dear friends.
Everywhere I went eyes beckoned and told stories of pain and joy and in the moments we connected. Even though we didn't meet beyond the sharing of our glances, I felt like I knew and was known. So as we gather in our virtual circle on this late winter morning imagine our eyes being the focal points. Our pools of light will continue to connect us as we meet the moments of this new month and this new week.
There is a level of knowing each other that exists only there. I invite you to bring awareness to the depth of relating to another person. These times call us to go beyond the physicality of where we live, how much money we have, our body types, the work we do, or the color of our skin. All surface characteristics pale in comparison to the richness within.
Eyes invite us to a deeper place that our identification to the worldly cannot comprehend. I invite you to smile into the eyes of another this week and receive the fullness of the breathing out and the breathing in. So much life waiting in the seeing and the being seen.
Rejoicing in seeing and being seen at the Core,
Dane
