Oneness

As I was driving to my office this morning, I nearly had a wreck. Someone pulled out in front of me and with the rain, my brakes were slower than normal to get me stopped. I honked my horn and then let it go. All of us were safe and that was all that mattered. I felt tension a bit as I pulled up next to the driver at the stoplight. I looked over at him and felt my emotions rise. He was elderly and his energy felt anxious. I got the sense this was a new vehicle for him to drive and he wasn't used to it. I breathed and felt love and compassion.

Our world is showing much division and I choose to see and stand on the common ground. We are One despite outward signs to the contrary. The world has opened for me as I have let go of more and more of those mental constructs and now I'm standing in a place of feeling the All. Expansion which is more present in love, gratitude and 'yes' energy opens us up to tasting the sunshine in the bite of an orange and sensing the presence of the Peruvian man that picked the beans for our cup of coffee. This is a profound place to live, be and create.

When we focus on compression and the energy of fear, doubt and 'no,' the energy of life shuts down and we might lose our larger connection and think this world is just about us as individuals. The changes that are happening now are not about any one of us even though the presence of each of us is critical. This is about the people, the planet, the plants, animals, winged ones and every star, solar system and the beyond that is not even part of our understanding. This is about every aspect of the interdependent web of existence.

So as we gather today from the far reaches of our lives, let us feel our connection and know we stand on sacred, centered, and common ground. I am grateful for your presence in this circle and send love, light and laughter your way.

May the blessings of now be obvious,
Dane
