Earth's Journey

The Wabash River is swollen with her water and the trees stand with buried trunks. The rhythm here is just right despite the shifting. The earth is calling out to listen and healing us as we work to heal her. The path runs both ways. She, too, is bringing herself into the present by honoring her history and throwing off what no longer serves the highest good. Why am I surprised that she is going through a similar process as we have been? Of course she is. She is alive and spirit-filled. I can feel her rotation as if it's me. Her rhythm is within me like our heartbeats just met and mingled. Our connection is strong and getting stronger. We are listening and she is glad.

The subtle energies just got stronger and my seeing, hearing, smelling, and feelings just got upped. I feel more alive and more present and more powerful than ever before and yet humbled by the power of what can rock our world. Where will we go from here? Will our awakened state continue? Will we realize that the earth's journey is about much, much more than just the human path? Will we return to honoring the animals and all that lives here? I hope so. I am doing my best to get there. I'm doing my best to help others that are led to work with me.

All the world wants is for us to be ourselves, our Core selves, that part of us that knows and trusts the knowing. It's so simple and yet we can make it so complex. Why do we do that? Let's be with the simple and profound in that place where they live together.

Without a Stitch of Stress

I hope that 2008 is already showing you much love peace, joy, and abundance. Happy New Year!I’m writing to you from an unfamiliar place inside of me. It’s as if my Core has quieted to a low and slow crawl. Gone are the days of striving and driving and only inviting and receiving remain. I entered 2008 without a stitch of stress, with no to-do list beckoning to me, and a nearly clear calendar. The last few months have drawn me quietly into myself and tightly held me in an embrace of loved ones. I have spent days in silence and solitude and they have blessed me in ways I had only glimpsed were possible. I have been spending time at the farm and in the presence of David, I was able to be in the presence of unconditional love more fully than I have ever been.

The blessings are so abundant that part of me hesitates to speak of them for that might be the cause of their dismissal. I gently blow that thought away and continue.

What is this peaceful place I have found? When I ask the powers that be what this is, I hear that I have found my center point, the place where my Core settles in like the pendulum coming to a pause. The polarities have found their peace. I hear that many are going through this and are at various stages. We have been heading toward this new way of being for a very long time. Can you feel the balancing?

I am prompted to be even more simple and practical in my coaching and teaching. I realize that in some ways I have made life more complex than it needs to be. In my certifications as a mediator, a diversity consultant, and a life coach, I was taught many processes and techniques to help people to change. That driven kind of change is not my goal anymore. I have known this in my mind for a long time and have moved in this direction, but now I get it in my body. Therefore, I am recommitting to my intention to support you in loving and trusting yourself, others, and life right here, right now. Embracing what is helps us to settle into the present moment and that invites the receiving of what can be. Life flows and change naturally happens when we have all of our energy with us in the moment instead of wrestling with the past and predicting the future. We can receive every single little thing our hearts desire. We just have to balance our action with opening our hands and hearts and allowing it in.

Here is to living in the simplicity, Dane
