This is one of those Meanderings that came out clumsy and complex. I can feel deep inside of me what I want to share and yet the words flutter in the distance. As is true for all of my writings, feel what is happening within you as you read. The energies beneath the words are more important than the letters. I welcome your responses.
Last week was a wild ride for many. For others it was a peaceful path. People were crumbling left and right and everywhere I looked hands were there for helping. What side of the being cared for and caring for were you on? Perhaps both came your way.
As we gather this morning, I invite you to look at your hands. Hold them up in front of you and really look at them. Notice the signs of them being well used. Perhaps there are lines and scars that reflect the history of where they have been, what they have created, who they have helped, other hands they have held and much, much more. Now go a little deeper in your presence and see if you can feel the energy beneath the flesh and bone.
There is a new level of subtle energy available inside and outside of us now to help us in the days ahead. It is as if the responsibility for our energy just got upped. As I walk through life, the layers of energy that surround me and mesh with what is on my path, are lighting up in a new way. Beads of light stream from my fingertips and time slows to a trickle. Touches have become more tender, hugs longer, and holding more powerful and gentle at the same time. This is about softening and letting our Core lead. We have been on this path for a while and now is the time to settle into the newness. Be the softness. Live your Core. Let your Light Shine. We are in this together and the world is waiting.
Last week I was catapulted into bigger mysteries than I have ever witnessed and I was reminded of my teacher's wisdom from my world travels and my studies with indigenous people. The ancient ways are clearly among us and returning to them will ease our path. Where they said we would be is where we are and it is up to us to choose where we walk next. I will share more about that during face to face sessions.
This week I encourage you to become more aware of your hands and try these to feel this new way of being:
Go to the library or bookstore and let your fingers do the walking down the book spines until they find the one that holds just what you need to read. Trust your fingers to know which book to stop at and where to open.
Repot plants and arrange and rearrange flowers as you feel their aliveness
Bake bread filled with the kneading of your hands or peel potatoes
Touch yourself, particularly your thighs and knees and feel the power of your hands as they comfort you
