The robin flapped its wings with vigor and sang its springlike song yesterday despite the cold, cold morning and the dusting of snow. Spring was inside of me this weekend too as I cleaned curtains, comforters and closets.
I love all of the seasons and honor them as aspects of me and yet, my heart is calling out for the vitality and newness of spring. Before we venture there, I invite you to pause with eyes closed. Consider the seeds of your mind that are contemplating your deepest desires. Tend to those seedlings today in their tender state by reflecting, dreaming and nourishing self. Connect your today to those dreams come true like a golden thread stretched a few months out. As we near the end of January, consider that March will be here very, very soon and allow yourself the deepening of your winter. The blanket of snow warms and nurtures. All that is beautiful is cteated out of the darkness like the winter hibernation that is among us. Be with what is in all its splendor.
