Dance!

The forming of our circle this morning was a bit more intentional as I chose to call out each of your names as an invitation to our gathering. I could see the web of life containing all of your lights shining from within. What a glorious sight on this sun filled Monday. Welcome! I am glad you are here.

We are gathered among the trees again and there is the crunchiness of about an inch of snow beneath our feet. It will melt soon as winter wanes. Before it goes, let's celebrate the cleansing and the purity of its presence. I invite you to take your place in the wide openness among the bare limbs and settle into yourself. A few deep breaths and an intention of connecting brings us to that place deep within that holds the seeds of self.

Movement is brewing from within our bodies and we follow the calling by doing the unique dance of who we are. I invite you to begin your dance one movement at a time. Go at your pace. No comparing or worrying about others. Be with yourself and the stirrings of your soul. Maybe you will barely move or perhaps you will give way to your wild side. Just be with what is right for you right now. Perhaps at some point you will feel like you are being danced instead of doing the dancing. If that happens, I invite you to call out 'Dance Me, Dance Me.' Feel the effortless movement of being danced by life.

It is like when I am drumming and at some point I'm being drummed instead of drumming. In that moment, I have met the flow of life and it has taken me to a new place I couldn't have gotten to on my own. Enjoy the rhythm of You that connects to the rhythm of All.
